Mercedes Sprinter Vehicles, through a collaboration with Mercedes Australia and one of Australia’s largest Mercedes dealer, Tynan Motors, are armoured by ACE Armoured Vehicles and distributed throughout Australia by Tynan Motors (Vehicle can also be supplied by the customer) for use by security companies, drug companies, jewellers and others requiring protection to comply with OH&S or federal regulations.
The Mercedes Sprinter Security vans are available in various protection systems meeting Australian banking and security industry preferred AS/NZS2343 that are installed in a manner that provides for a covert vehicle, meaning the armoured vehicle is not distinguishable externally from a standard Mercedes Sprinter.

Key areas of the engine compartment are also protected, including upper firewall, battery, and the fuel tanks are coated with our proprietary explosion and leak inhibiting polymer/ hybrid protection system.
